Want your new vintage reprint to look properly lived-in? Our custom shirt distressing add-on is the controlled finish: tasteful hand holes and cuts first, then a cellulase enzyme wash so those edges fray, soften, and read old instead of freshly snipped.

We place the cuts by hand — collar nicks, a clean rip near the hem, openings that still let the graphic read — not random shredding. After the hand work, cellulase (enzyme wash / biopolishing) breaks down surface cotton microfibrils with tumbling so cut edges age and the whole tee gets that broken-in distressed t-shirt hand. Enzyme is the wash step; the cuts make the holes. Softer and more even than stone wash, and not acid-wash streaking.
